About
Loyal is a registered charitable trust with the purpose of supporting Fair Trade artisans around the world. They sell beautiful products made by artists in developing countries in their online store.
This expands these artisans' reach, increases their profits and enables them to support their families, educate their children, access healthcare, and generally live better lives -- all with the dignity of making and selling their own products.
Loyal sells over 300 products from over 50 producers in developing countries. Each product in the store has the producer’s name, and the Artisan page on Loyal’s website gives more details about the people making the product.
Artesanas Campesinas, for example, is a women-owned cooperative in Mexico that is continuing their region’s tradition of creating beautiful silver and abalone jewelry. Over in Kenya, Jedando African Handicrafts works with more than 100 individual carvers to supply a wide range of handmade wood and bone products.

Loyal purchases from WFTO collectives, or if producers are too small to be able to afford certification, they ask them to verify that the principles of fair trade are being followed.
Loyal’s partner charities receive 100% of their profits, which go to support aid work in NZ and around the world. And the best part is that customers get a real say in where their money goes.
Giving Back
Every time you purchase a product from Loyal, you are awarded the profit in “Loyal dollars” that can be spent supporting your chosen charity.
To keep things simple and transparent, one Loyal dollar equals one NZ dollar. Customers accrue their Loyal dollars and can spend them on gifts and projects run by one of the charity organisations registered with Loyal.
