Introducing fair&good
Think of it as an Ethical Brand directory.
At fair&good, we know that you want to find a simple way to make ethical shopping a part of your daily life. Here you can browse through curated brands that live up to your values, and link you directly to their page to shop.
From home goods and clothing to skincare and food, the brands on our site can cross off your entire shopping list, and you can feel good knowing that what you buy is truly changing lives.
Who are we?
Our fair&good team have all had personal encounters that opened our eyes to the harsh reality behind today’s global market.
Erin Balle
After working in the fashion industry Erin has grown disillusioned with society’s overconsumption and putting profit before people.
Matai'a Sarah Richards
Following Sarah's travels to South Asia and the Pacific, which introduced her to the lives of workers in the developing world, Sarah struggled as a consumer to easily find brands which matched her values.
Dr Susan Maiava
Susan’s expansive career in academia and not-for-profit governance has included visiting underpaid factory workers in the developing world and hosting two ethical trade conferences.
fair&good was born out of a conviction that spending our money ethically is one of the most powerful tools we all have to bring about change.
For us, ethical trade is not just about fair wages and better work conditions – it’s about entirely transforming lives. At fair&good we want to connect you with the people who make your products, and tell their story.
Every dollar we spend is a vote for the kind of world we want to see.
Together, let’s create a world where the products we use are made by empowered hands – by people who are paid fairly, treated respectfully and are given opportunities to improve their lives.
